It 's now that time of year that I love the most - Autumn! The beauty of turning leaves, the scent of bonfires and those wonderful misty mornings! Dewdrop covered cobwebs, that nip in the air that makes you want to tie your scarf that little bit tighter during walks through the fields. Knitted jumpers, woolen tights and knee-high boots - all glorious delights for me.
But one of my most enjoyable elements too is the makeup! I love the richer colours that inspire me; the beautiful plums and burgundies for the lips, the smoky eyes of chocolate brown, charcoal greys or sludgy nudes. The play with different textures; the satin finish on the lip, the matte shadows on a well blended eye mixed with the slight flash of a sparkly shadow on the inner corner to create a freshness.
I 've put together some images of makeup that inspire me - and what I think of as an Autumnal array! I hope that you enjoy them and find them inspiring too!
